Located just outside of Nederland, CO, at 8,200 ft, the system is an 8.16 kW grid-tied photovoltaic
(PV) array, featuring 48 BP Solar SX-170B 170W panels organized
into 6 8-panel strings connected to 3 Xantrex GT 2.8 2800W inverters, ground-mounted along the north
edge of our leach field, with enough concrete in the footers to withstand 140mph winds.
For now, we're displaying daily totals for AC watt-hours generated (updated... daily). We expect to expand
our data offerings in the future. We will also have weather station data to post at some point.
Update:
I've written my own data acquisition code for linux and reconnected the serial cable to a linux box which
runs 24/7, with much lower energy consumption and much less likelihood of being switched off or crashing. The
data will start over, but will be much more reliable moving forward. I've also added a "peak power" field, which
will show the daily peak output (W).
Unable to locate any PV array data for the current month.
